Earthing

Earthing is also known as grounding and is simply walking barefoot on the ground. It’s a therapeutic technique that involves not only walking but also any other activity that reconnects you with the Earth.

It could also include sitting, lying or just touching the Earth. Camping, climbing, swimming in the lake or river, walking in the snow or on the beach: Anything that you can imagine where your bare skin touches the Earth.

How does it work? Our body cells consist of 2/3 of water that our body holds. As we all know the water conducts electricity. Direct contact with the ground transfers the negative energy (electrons) from the ground in to our positively charged bodies to produce a balanced neutral (grounded) effect.

Just some of the benefits include  better sleep, reduced pain and inflammation, reduced level of cortisol (the stress hormone), reduced risk of cardiovascular disease and a strengthened immune system.
